What Should I Say?

When preparing to go into the harvest to share the gospel there are four questions to consider:  (1) WHY should I share the gospel? (2) WHO should I share with? (3) WHAT should I say? and finally (4)  WHEN will I do it? Let's look at each of these separately. On this page we will look at WHAT should I say?

3 Circles - A Simple Tool for Sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ - below are a few examples of how to share this tool with others.

Three Circles Sample 1

Three Circles Sample 2

A "WHAT?" ACTIVITY - Practice Drawing the 3 Circles

Grab a blank sheet of paper (and if possible a partner or someone you can practice with or train) and draw the 3 Circles. Practice until you feel confident. Refer back to the videos as needed. This is a simple tool you can use to share the gospel with people you know, as well as people you don't know.

Another "What Should I Say?" option is to tell others what Jesus has done in your life using a "15 Second Testimony" tool.

A "WHAT?" ACTIVITY - Think Through Your 15 Second Testimony

On a sheet of paper write down:

1) Two words that describe your life before you began to follow Jesus

2) Two words that describe how you began to follow Jesus. Typically you could use Forgiven and Follow - You can say, "I was Forgiven by Jesus and chose to Follow Him"

3) Two words that describe your life AFTER you became a follower of Jesus
